[ CAPACITY ]

For cocktail scenarios, BE can hold up to 175 guests in the space. BE can also accommodate 80 -100 guests for a seated or buffet dinner, depending on the table configuration. The great room holds up to 60 guests with a dance floor. There is no minimum guest number required

to book the space.


[ TIMING ]

The rental rate guarantees you 10 hours. These 10 hours should cover your setup

time, the event itself, and the breakdown. If there is a ceremony

during your event, please call us for specific details.


BE's guest curfew is 12:30 A.M. Caterers and/or any other vendor are permitted

to breakdown and remove their equipment until 2:00 A.M. If you wish to extend

the guest curfew past 12:30 A.M., an overtime rate of $800/hr will be incurred.


[ STAFF ]

The rental rate includes the presence of 2-3 BE staff members for the duration of every event. A doorman will be stationed at the main entrance to greet your guests and assist with any questions, while a manager will be monitoring the event in BE to ensure

everything is operating smoothly and comfortably.

[ KITCHEN ]

We at BE have a residential kitchen featuring a gas oven, residential fridge, dishwasher, and additional space for prep tables to be set up. (kitchen area is 8.5’ x 25’, located off great room)


[ RENTALS ]

Catering, tables, chairs, linens, dishware, and glassware are not included in the rental of BE. Please also note that tent rental is NOT included. Typically, a caterer will organize the rental of dinner tables, chairs, etc. for your event.

[ PARKING & TRANSPORTATION ]

BE offers some free street parking evenings and weekends. We can also help you to coordinate a valet for your guests at an additional fee. If you’d like to pay for parking for your guests, we’re happy to connect you to our preferred valet service.


Contact information for car services are available for your guests. BE is easily accessible from I-95 and 83. We are also 3 blocks south of the Federal Hill Business District.


BE is conveniently located on the corner of Light St & Gittings St.

Cross Street Market is 3 blocks north of BE,

1 block south of the actual South Branch of the Enoch Pratt Library

1 block north of School 33 Center for the Arts.


For those driving, there is free street parking (some metered closer to the market).  Parking is also available in a paid garage within a few blocks of our building located at 40 E West Street, just two blocks north of the gallery, & half a block west. map to west street garage
